"Marshall Field's wanted to inform and update women's accessory (jewelry, shoes and purses) vendors on the history and recent repositioning of its Chicago State Street flagship store. The challenge was to build on over 150 years of retail heritage and update partners on the recent, dramatic changes at Field's. The solution was to utilize traditional design techniques such as letterpress, silk-screened illustration, hand tied tags and "brown" bags in a modern way. All packaged within the form of a ladies purse for overall effect, 2-color silkscreen on cardboard, 2-color printed bags with letterpressed labels."
