"Handed nothing but a script to promote Annie Leibovitz’s traveling show of famous women (no photographs), DK settled on an approach suggesting the chemical alchemy between the subject and photographic process. Ink, dye, water, oil and litho transparencies were shot atop a simple light table with a common DV camera. Each set of names was composited, animated and digitally manipulated, and then edited with an audio track that blended music and sound design. Audio and visual were developed in parallel under the direction of the DK creative team."
