"To elevate perceptions of Clipper from a niche organic brand to that of a serious challenger to the mainstream tea and coffee brands and to communicate that the brand is the thinking man's cup of tea—the ‘Thoughtful Choice’ in the tea aisle—we used a National Geographic style of photography to inform the consumer about the region from which the tea has originated. The Specialiteas range shows wild animals indigenous to a specific area, the Classics range shows artifacts, the China teas show Chinese costume and so on. The thinking man's cuppa."
