Unpublished photograph shot with a Hasselblad 500C, Kodak Color VPH, with available light, at Holding Pen Studio, New York City on May 10, 1994. "A couple of months after Chris Farley died, I found myself flipping through the contact sheets of my session with him. I found a setup, which at the time of the shoot, I read as being unnecessarily dark and moody. This was me putting my style onto someone else. Looking back, as he had died in such a tragic way, the pictures showed a Chris Farley who was dramatic and sad in a way that was no longer pretentious but actually telling."
