Margery Goldberg, photo editor
New York Magazine, client
"There was a frozen lake nearby that was part of the reservoir system Robert Kennedy Jr. works to protect, so he suggested we drill a hole in it and photograph his head sticking out of the ice. We put him in the wet suit and he was in the lake for about three minutes." Photograph shot with a Hasselblad 500C, Kodak Tri-X 400, with available light at Howlands Lake, Mount Kisco, New York, February 26, 1995.
