"I have a place in the mountains and in some nights the windows get crowded with thousands of butterflies attracted by the lights. I always thought about doing a book with this marvelous shapes. Since it was spring, and I wanted to do something to celebrate it, I remembered the butterflies. We found a beautiful one in an old clipping book and used it as a single element to compound beautiful 'flowers' and create virtual gardens. Then we put some real (black) butterflies flying over this gardens at differents heights to give a sensation of depth."
