Target television commercial. "The Wants/Needs campaign was a way for us to unite many disparate elements of the store. It's great to have such a huge canvas (the entire store to choose from), but figuring out how to make them all live together can be tricky," said creative director Dave Peterson. "With Wants/Needs we used a relatively simple effect of the split screen to create compositions of items people want with things they need. Creatively, we discovered some amazing pairings; some pairings were funny, some pretty, some charming. Each composition demanded a ton of pre-planning and very careful matches."
