"Macbeth. Broadway poster for a performance of the Shakespeare classic about power and murder, starring Kelsey Grammer. This assignment gave me an opportunity to combine different drawing techniques in one piece. Rough and dense lines for the crown and more modeled rendering for the figure. I also smeared my hands over the background to reference the victims that haunt the lead character. The paper was torn and roughed up with sandpaper and razor blades." 32 x 40, pastel, acrylic, oil-based printing ink and spray paint on paper.
