Edel Rodriguez, illustrator
"Sevilla, part of a personal series of drawings from a trip to Spain. I've been to Seville a couple of times and always end up at this tapas bar that has dozens of stuffed bulls' heads hanging on the walls. They come from the Plaza de Toros accross the street and are surrounded by historical pictures of the matadors that did them in. It struck me as funny that in the end the bull and the matador both end up tacked up on the wall to be stared at by onlookers." 15 x 10, pastel, watercolor, oil-based ink on paper.
