"It was a great honor to be asked to paint this portrait of Der Spiegel editor-in-chief Stefan Aust in honor of his 60th birthday. Because of his interest in raising horses, we portrayed him as a nineteenth-century landed gentry type—with a Motorola Razr cell phone in his coat pocket.
