"Norman Granz, the founder of Verve Records, put these historic sessions together, inviting a wide range of jazz musicians, that resulted in this treasure trove of music. We created the metal-framed case from scratch; we had to sand down the edges of the metal so no one would get injured. It looks like the announcement board in front of the Blue Note Jazz Club. The silver ink used on the booklet’s interior ties in nicely with the metal frame."
