"In the ‘70’s WGBH was known locally as Channel 2 and the wacko extreme of projects that anthropomorphized the digit was the 2-Mobile. It was mounted on an underpowered VW chassis and toured around Boston and New England raising awareness and dollars for public broadcasting," said designer Chris Pullman.
