This 1957 ad for El Al Airlines was revolutionary for airline advertising. No planes. No stewardesses. No schedules. Flying the new Bristol Britannia jet-prop allowed non-stop flights across the Atlantic, saving over two hours by eliminating refueling stops at Goose Bay, Labrador or Gander, Newfoundland.
