A public service newspaper ad chiding Congress for not passing the Rat Extermination Bill. In 1967, Bert Steinhauser conceived this ad, wrote the headline and purchased space in The New York Review of Books. Cuck Kollewe wrote the copy. Donald Mack shot the image. Later, President Johnson wrote a letter of thanks saying, "Your timely and imaginative advertisement must surely have played an important part in persuading Congress of the necessity for this vital legislation."
