"For over 25 years YoungArts has provided world-renowned visual and performing arts programming for emerging artists. Bluecadet was approached to craft an online visual identity that matches YoungArts’s bold work, while organizing content in a way that brings its best aspects to light. We created an intuitive and flexible information architecture, and helped YoungArts select compelling imagery from thousands of files. The site features a custom Drupal CMS that enables YoungArts to keep it current and solicit user-contributed content. We integrated social media to allow visitors to share blog content on Facebook, log-in via Facebook Connect and Open Graph, receive live updates through Twitter and Flickr streams. With its strong, dynamic design, featuring full-browser video on the home page, the site has dramatically increased YoungArts’s online presence."
