"Usually, when we start shooting an editorial, we only have a vague idea of where it will lead us. We know what inspired the stylist (our frequent collaborator Cloé Legault in this case), but how it will be translated in the pages of ELLE remains a mystery. As we were progressing in the development of the story, I kept thinking about Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, and on the set, many other elements like the décor and lighting played an active role in giving the editorial its essence."
