"The entire photo shoot took place on our balcony, when we used to live in Habitat 67, a housing complex designed by Moshe Safdie for the World's Fair held in Montréal in 1967. The keyword from art director Denis Desro was 'minimalist,' and since black was in fashion at the time, we wanted to create an editorial that both reflected the simplicity of a color that is perennially fashionable, and the rough concrete lines of Moshe Safdie's iconic architectural landmark."
