"Blending stunning visualizations with playful interaction, we designed 'What's In Your Blood?,' a classic educational experience with a number of interactive twists. Designed in collaboration with Thinc Design for the Museum of Science and Industry, the multi-user interactive table lets visitors of all ages explore a hyper-realistic blood stream as it travels through a physical model of the human heart. The interactive experience challenges visitors to understand how the body reacts in different states of health. Visitors can see first-hand how the blood vessel responds to exercise, to infection and to heart disease. For example, if visitors block the blood vessel by extending their arms across the table, they can trigger a simulated heart attack. The table's shape and kid-friendly height allows families to gather together, encouraging learning, conversation and, we hope, a memorable experience."
