"Long before global warming was front page news much of modern-day Boston was under water until landfill doubled its size. Landscape architect Shauna Gillies-Smith created a metaphoric public art piece called LandWave to mark the narrow neck where the original town, once a peninsula, met the mainland. But it needed an information panel to let passersby know the significance of the site and the artwork, so that's where Visual Dialogue stepped in."
