"Burgues Script is an ode to the late nineteenth-century American calligrapher Louis Madarasz, whose legendary pen has inspired schools of penmanship for over 100 years. His talent caused some people to call him 'the most skillful penman the world has ever known.' Burgues Script has been used in many recent designs including the style section from the New York Times magazine, Levi's and Annie Lennox amongst others. Burgues Script received a Certificate of Excellence at the Type Directors Club and at the Biennal of Tipos Latinos."
