"Matt is a well-known stickler for detail. I grabbed reference material off the Internet, and used Photoshop and Illustrator to design and layout ads, but I executed the final camera-ready art with mostly period-correct materials and techniques. I use gouache for a lot of the larger pieces—things like storyboards and the big Jaguar comps—it drys fast, the colors are rich and it photographs great."
