“I was contacted to shoot some images for Leo Burnett’s 75th anniversary celebration. The agency has a particular pencil they’re known for, so they sent me a couple of boxes and told me I could do whatever I wanted. I broke the pencil down into its fundamental elements of wood and lead and used those to make these photos.”
