“I’ve been working with the Gunpowder River Artfest since its inception four years ago,” Hesselberth says. “The goal of the event is to bring more artists to our region. I design and illustrate one main poster image that we apply to banners, signage, T-shirts and ads. The day of the event is always a treat. I get to see my art everywhere. One year, some of the kid volunteers painted the recycle bins with their interpretation of my art. I loved it.”
