“The Nike Free Flyknit running shoe combines the second-skin fit of Flyknit construction and the ultimate flexibility of the Nike Free. To introduce this innovation to consumers in China, Nike and Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai developed a ten-day live installation on a prominent billboard in Shanghai. Over the course of the installation, the sock-like Free Flyknit was ‘knitted’—thread by thread—over a bare foot by four installation professionals.”
