“This guide to creative reuse for the now defunct and much-mourned ReadyMade magazine is itself a reusable object, with a spine that can be used as a ruler. The design is a balancing act of smart and fun, sophisticated and accessible that presents the book’s environmental themes in a contemporary manner more appropriate to its twentysomething and thirtysomething audience. The wide variety of content made the book resistant to a simple design system, and we spent many a late night—and, in Eric’s case, one visit to the ER for coffee-induced chest pains—designing page after unique page. And what other book out there uses the typeface Logger with a completely straight face?”
