"Crop is a full-service luxury hair and beauty salon that caters to a sophisticated, fashion-conscious clientele. Crop sought a look and feel that alluded to its Southern roots, but appealed to its decidedly hip patrons. Because the salon’s interior features gorgeous repurposed walnut planks that originated from North Carolina's western forests, we made the beautiful wood grain central to the salon's branding. The business card is laser-etched wood with letterpress printing, and the website and service menu make use of double-exposure images. Together, these elements suggest a business that cultivates the individual's look, not the me-too shampoo, curl and set of Mayberry lore."
