“This packaging deliberately moves away from traditional olive oil vessels and their clichéd symbols of quality and provenance. Our design targets the cultivated minds of food connoisseurs who have the spirit of aesthetes. The metallic can speaks of function and culinary power while a very realistic-looking drop of oil leaking down the side of the can, almost as an afterthought, keeps the product grounded in the food market. If there ever were a slogan attached to this brand, it would read ‘Simply Oil.’”
