“Salmon oil is a valuable nutrition additive that is often prescribed by doctors, so our client wanted a package that would stand out on the shelves at a pharmacy. Our design includes a direct, and rather sober, reference to the very natural source of the product, a salmon fish. We aimed for the illustrative style of fish encyclopedias of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, plus simple, clear typography. A diagonal line connects packages on the shelf.”
