“In 2011, the Deutsche Bank headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, was redesigned, and we were asked to make tangible the bank’s history, present, business areas and brand philosophy. We took the company’s logo by Anton Stankowski and translated it into a narrative space. To avoid permanent logos that dominate the space, the sculptures were translated through anamorphosis: the shape is transformed into an abstract 3-D structure that is directly legible only from one vantage point. Based on this idea, we developed a series of anamorphic logo sculptures and collaborated on the spatial design with Coordination Berlin.”
