A data-driven design firm in Milan, Italy, and New York City, Accurat offers a variety of design services for its clients, creating high-end custom data visualizations and discovering correlations and trends in data pulled from its geospatial visual analysis platform. Its sleek new site wastes no time in showcasing its design, using a minimal navigation system, bold gradients and the single monospace typeface Akkurat Mono. Accurat structured its site’s homepage around different entry points for key content: “Works,” “Services” and “Clients.” Keeping the site completely static to ensure short download times, the design firm created its project pages as single long-scroll pages and designed a footer that guides visitors from one case study to the next. Accurat implemented Jekyll to generate HTML pages and Tachyons as a CSS framework.
