Background: The goal of the website was to faithfully translate the DNA of social media agency Agence Foudre into a digital experience. We wanted to convey a vision of social media communication that feels more human, vibrant and strategic.
The target audience is twofold: on the one hand, brands and advertisers that are looking for a more distinctive, more human approach to social media; on the other, talents who connect with Agence Foudre’s culture and can truly see themselves as part of it. The website was therefore designed to function both as an acquisition tool and as a manifesto.
Design core: Among the site’s key elements are a navigation designed around an instinctive scroll, almost mobile-first in its behavior; light yet ever-present interactions that bring the content to life without overwhelming it; a reimagined contact system, built as a mini-journey inspired by Pinterest; and the integration of direct access via WhatsApp, encouraging immediate, frictionless connection.
Visually, the approach is simple: to be expressive without being demonstrative. The energy comes from rhythm, not from excess.
Favorite details: When it comes to animation, we place great importance on all the microdetails—animation timing, transitions or even lighter touches like the 404 page. These are the elements that bring personality to the experience without ever forcing it.
The contact form on Agence Foudre’s site is very much part of this approach. By transforming what we often saw as a constraint into a smooth and engaging experience, we were able to remain consistent with the agency’s identity all the way through.
Challenges: Finding the right balance between expressiveness and simplicity. The world of social media can quickly become noisy or overly demonstrative. We wanted to capture that energy while maintaining a sense of restraint—ensuring the experience remains clear, focused and effective.
Time constraints: The project unfolded over several months, allowing us to progressively refine our choices. Rather than constraining the creative process, time became a tool for adjustment, with numerous iterations and ongoing testing.
New lessons: This project reinforced the conviction that user experience can be inspired by existing codes without being copied. Adapting social media habits to a website requires real work in simplification and hierarchy.
Navigation structure: For the navigation, we wanted to minimize cognitive load as much as possible. Rather than designing a complex menu, we opted for a natural, almost narrative progression, where each section naturally leads to the next. Users don’t need to think about where to click—they simply move forward.
These interactions borrow the swipe logic and fast-consumption patterns typical of social media. The contact journey, meanwhile, deliberately breaks away from traditional conventions to offer a more engaging and less formal experience.
Technology: We built Agence Foudre’s website on a modern tech stack, paying particular attention to performance and simplicity. We used Kirby CMS for the back end and front-end technologies such as barba.js, Locomotive Scroll, Vanilla JS and Vite.js. The technologies we prioritized deliver a smooth experience while minimizing environmental impact—optimized assets, controlled animations and a lightweight structure.
