Background: Alethia is a climate-tech company providing real-time environmental impact verification and monitoring. The site’s purpose is to translate complex scientific data into a clear, reliable experience for nontechnical audiences, without sacrificing rigor or credibility. The target audience spans five segments: Fortune 500 carbon credit buyers, large-scale agricultural producers selling carbon credits, governments consuming environmental data, auditing firms and companies sourcing commodities from Latin America.

Design core: We designed the site as a single integrated system where content architecture, visual language and interaction unite under one logic. The identity is built on a modular framework, operating through design rules and behaviors rather than fixed assets. This ensures clarity, hierarchy and accessibility while enabling flexibility and growth.

Challenges: Making highly technical environmental data feel trustworthy and accessible, without falling into scientific abstraction or the surface-level optimism common in the sustainability space. Alethia’s credibility depends entirely on the integrity of its data, so every visual decision had to hold complexity without oversimplifying it. The modular design system, which we built on rules and behaviors rather than fixed assets, was the answer to that tension.

Navigation structure: The main idea was to guide users through a story rather than present information statically. The structure works for both familiar and unfamiliar audiences, making complex concepts accessible without oversimplifying them. Visuals and interactions—such as scanning lines, changes in scale and zooming into the Earth—connect ideas and move the narrative forward, creating an experience that feels intuitive and engaging to follow.

Technology: The site was built entirely in Framer. Designers owned the full build from first concept to published site, working directly on the canvas with custom code, 3-D and motion. We had no separation between design and development.
