North Vancouver, British Columbia–based winter apparel brand Arc’teryx’s winter 2016 lookbook examines how Arc’teryx’s apparel can help people stay comfortable and look fashionable in both the wilderness of Rogers Pass, British Columbia, and the metropolitan area of Oslo, Norway. Put together by Canadian digital creative agency Pound & Grain, the lookbook features a minimal design that emphasizes its content and interactive experience. An “engagement loop”—as termed by Pound & Grain—automatically loads more content when visitors scroll to the bottom of the page, providing a seamless transition from page to page without having to rely on clunky action buttons. The site was built with the ASP.net framework, and the front-end design was created in HTML5, CSS3 and javascript.
