Background: A 3-D architecture design studio, Archi-Malin Studio presents the work of freelance 3-D graphic designer Antoine. This showcase website highlights his expertise in creating realistic 3-D renderings and custom projects down to the smallest details. The website primarily targets professionals in the architecture and 3-D design sectors, as well as potential clients seeking high-end 3-D visualization services.
Design core: The site offers a smooth and immersive experience where users navigate through the visuals of the Archi-Malin studio. The idea was to create a soft, understated and elegant atmosphere that reflects Antoine’s world. The graphic style is intentionally minimalist to give full focus to the images, which are at the heart of the project.
Challenges: The selection and harmonization of the visuals was one of the most demanding parts of the project. We carefully chose each image to fit into a cohesive palette and offer a pleasing visual flow. The goal was to create a smooth visual continuity between sections without any aesthetic disruption. Although subtle in the final result, this step was lengthy and very meticulous. Antoine was also actively involved in this process.
Special navigational features: The homepage in particular offers various types of scrolling interactions—some elements change size and overlap, and at certain points, the scroll direction changes. This creates an element of surprise while maintaining an intuitive user interface. It’s a small visual journey through Archi-Malin’s universe, designed to spark curiosity without disorienting the user.
Technology: For the design, we used Figma. On the development side, we used Nuxt for the site’s structure and GSAP for animations. These technologies allowed us to create a fast, smooth and visually immersive experience.
