Background: Arts District Craft and Kitchen (ADCK) is a restaurant inside the Las Vegas–based Able Baker Brewing that serves quick, tasty bites with flavors from around the world. This site serves as the central online hub to tell ADCK’s brand story, convey the physical location’s ambiance and showcase the menu offerings. It’s targeted towards craft beer aficionados that love good fast food made with high-quality ingredients.
Design core: The site’s core features include clean and effective brand elements that consist of complementary typography, icons and colors. Strategically placed photographs within the layout tell the ADCK story. The subtle motion and interactions bring the experience together by adding delightful feedback as the user browses through each section.
Favorite details: The brand elements, clean layout, photography, and motion design and animations. We feel that all of these bring together a fun and cohesive browsing experience.
Navigation structure: We wanted to create a simple, long-form scrolling experience that lets the user take in the high-quality imagery and complimentary copy that highlighted the kitchen’s offerings. The structure accentuates subtle microinteractions and seamless content-reveal animations as users move their way through the different sections of the site.
Technology: The site is built on the WordPress CMS with a custom theme and utilizes a bespoke CSS utility framework. GSAP powers all animations and interactions.
