Background: The Auriga Space website was the main element of a brand refresh centered on a new website and clearer brand communication guidelines. The logo, logotype and primary brand color remained unchanged.

The site presents electromagnetic propulsion as a mission ready alternative to chemical rockets and positions Auriga as a credible partner for defense and space programs. It explains complex engineering clearly and focuses on real systems, reuse, scalability and electrical performance.

Larger picture: The primary audience includes defense program managers, government stakeholders, aerospace partners and investors. Defense and space are shown as coequal applications of a single technology, reinforcing electromagnetic propulsion as a shared advantage across domains. Rather than supporting a short term campaign, the website now anchors Auriga’s brand communication and supports partnerships, investor discussions and long-term program evaluations.

Design core: The site is defined by a cohesive, modern visual system that combines layout, typography and motion into a single experience. Subtle microinteractions and motion effects are integrated at the development level, supporting clarity and flow rather than decoration.

Favorite details: We are most proud of the attention to detail, including custom elements such as the loader and footer. These details add character and polish while reinforcing the site’s storytelling and brand narrative, keeping the experience aligned with Auriga’s technical credibility.

Challenges: The biggest challenge was defining a single, cohesive art direction while working with visual assets provided by the client that varied in quality and consistency. The goal was to unify these elements without losing credibility or character.

We chose to treat this constraint as a feature rather than a limitation, designing a visual system that absorbed these differences and turned them into a distinctive part of the site’s identity. This required close collaboration between brand communication, design, and development to ensure consistency across layout, motion and performance.

A major advantage of the process was the close and open collaboration with Auriga’s founder, who was receptive to unconventional solutions and creative exploration. This allowed us to refine microinteractions, loaders and overall site performance to a high level of polish.

Navigation structure: The navigation was intentionally kept simple and familiar to reduce friction for high stakes audiences. The structure prioritizes clarity and fast access to key information.

The primary goal of the navigation is conversion to contact, especially for defense, government and industry stakeholders who typically arrive with a specific evaluation mindset. Clear hierarchy, predictable behavior and strong calls to action support decision making without drawing attention to the navigation itself.

Technology: The site was built using Webflow as a no code platform, with custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript used to implement motion design, microinteractions and performance-focused details. We gave additional attention to refined microanimations, the custom loader and overall performance optimization.
