Brand design agency BASIC created an e-commerce platform for women’s fashion brand BB Dakota that artfully shows its mission as well as its products. Big imagery and immersive video content push the story behind each product, giving users the full experience of what it’s like to live in BB Dakota’s clothes. Core features include the product listing page, where visitors can shop for specific items through filtered searches, and a journal section that acts as a central hub for all BB Dakota’s content, including stories, short films, fashion photography journals and social content. Each page contains various custom-designed content modules that help the fashion brand’s online team to pick and choose what features to use, and several wordpress shortcodes enable easy maintenance.
