What better way to sell an ice cream brand than with tantalizing photos of its products and ingredients? From Vancouver, British Columbia–based agency and design collective One Twenty Three West and designer and developer Helen Eady, a cleanly designed site houses the mouthwatering oeuvre of Betterwith, an organic, farm-fresh ice cream brand. The site’s fifteen photos and animated GIFs were shot by photographer Clinton Hussey, with art direction by One Twenty Three West. Keeping the focus on the essentials—what the Betterwith brand represents, its quality and where to buy it—One Twenty Three West kept the site’s navigation simple, ensuring that visitors get where they need to go with a minimal scrolling layout. This minimal layout also enabled the site to easily translate to mobile and tablet devices.
