Background: As the first line of products exclusively dedicated to your immune system, BOOST exists to help people get sick less. We worked with the team at NOISE to launch its flagship product, BOOST Immunity Gummy Vitamins. With the brooding persistence of COVID-19, and the general stressors of the election, quarantining and remote work, we can hardly imagine a better time for BOOST to make its way into the world for something that, for once, we can all get behind: our health.
Special navigation features: The site features a single product, so the design challenge was to bring it front and center throughout the entire experience. In the spirit of making the bottle feel somewhat tangible, we asked ourselves questions like: What do people want to do when they see a shiny, interesting object? The answer is they want to touch it, inspect it, hold it up to the light and learn more. This evolved into a simple concept: the experience should be like taking a bottle of BOOST off the shelf, turning it over in your hands and understanding the virtues of the product as bursting epiphanies.
Favorite details: We’re proud of the exploding ingredients section—sharing the important functional benefits of a product doesn’t have to be boring! We also love the copywriting. It’s always refreshing when a team is willing to lead with a strong, excitable personality and leave the typical business-speak in the bottle.
Challenges: The spinning bottle as a scrolling animation was without a doubt the most challenging aspect, so major props to our friends at Basement for making it happen!
