Background: Cahn Wilson is a Parisian law firm, with an expertise in business law, for crises or exceptional situations regarding their client companies. The audience of this showcase website is broad: public, private or business banks, investment funds, insurance companies, industries, service companies, trade unions, audiovisual and film companies and fashion groups, among others.
Core feature: The navigation. We created a new digital paradigm by linking the logo to the main navigation system. The menu and page transitions are based on a dynamically angled, chopped-off design referring to the logo’s structure and colors.
Challenges: The design of the website is based on a grid and modular-block structure, so the challenge was developing a customized feature that makes all the site’s items manageable and administrable. To give a concrete example, even the cutting angles, as well as the choice of letter in the title to cut, can be defined quickly and simply from the back end.
Technology: As with many other sites we craft, Cahn Wilson’s site is based on our own CMS: Roadiz. Based on Symfony components and built on a polymorphic data structure, Roadiz includes intuitive, ergonomic content management. For front-end technologies, we use GSAP to create our animations and HTML5 Canvas to deal with the navigation.
