Don Q is the number one rum in Puerto Rico but its not yet well-known in the U.S. This site will help change that by giving its audience of young men something they're in dire need of: female perspective.

LadyData is powered by the opinions of a team of female insiders, lending their intuition to crucial man-topics like style, careers, manners and, of course, sex and dating. Its an unexpected blend of data, entertainment and utility thats built to grow. Most importantly, its relevant and engagingguys can explore the data and findings, sorting the women by region, age, relationship status and other attributes to see how their opinions vary and what patterns emerge.

It provides users with answers to questionsreal data coming from real people, gathered through surveys and stored and displayed by the site. New profiles, questions and answers are added regularly, keeping the content changing. Users can also suggest new questions to be used in future surveys. Of course theres also a parallel part of the site that provides users with product and event information, recipes and a store locator.

• When the target demographic is 23- to 30-year-old men, its hard to resist making an alcohol brand site feel like a party, but because the concept of LadyData is so unique, the interface really needed to reflect that.

• The answer/percentage columns on the question detail pages change as the filtering criteria changes.

• All Flash content is indexable by search engines.

• Flex Builder 3, Adobe Flash CS5, ActionScript 3, HTML, CSS and JavaScript were used for the front end of the site; Expression Engine, PHP and a MySQL Database were used on the back end.
