Essential, a Palo Alto, California–based tech company, creates devices both for smartphones as well as for smart homes. Eschewing the typical site that centers only on a company’s tech, digital design firm Hello Monday paired Essential’s products along with the people who create them, focusing not only on the capabilities of each device but also the thought behind it. A sleek, minimal design with a top-down navigation system makes the site a pleasure to explore. The site welcomed more than 500,000 visitors on the first day of its launch.
