Background: The purpose of the site is to tell users the story of shopper marketing agency FPP in an immersive way. The site’s target audience is attracting new clients.
Design core: The core features are the interactive WebGL homepage aisle, which is really cool. We had a lot of fun making it. Also, the navigation/hero’s 3-D models have a seamless transition.
Favorite details: We really like the curiosity statements—the clickable pineapple—in the bottom right corner. It’s very FPP and a nice feature. Another favorite would be the way the WebGL experience has come together; we think that’s really made the website unique.
Challenges: Deciding how to maintain design quality while hooking a CMS into pages and case studies presented a slight challenge. In an ideal world, the content is the same as the design—but of course, that very rarely happens!
New skills: This is one of the first times we have brought together WebGL and a website together, so that created a few hurdles developing them in isolation and then merging the two.
