Background: We wanted to share our experience of using grids. In everyday life, our team uses four types of grids that are shown on the site with brief descriptions. Also, we show examples of our projects and give some tips. Every designer can find out something useful or new on the site. The educational process can be bright and not boring—Grids is a great example of this statement.
Design core: This website is super minimalistic, but there are many unusual features that help generate interest. Users can switch the grid on and find out how the site is anchored to the grid. Crazy mode completely transforms the site with colors and floating shapes. Also, a square acts as a main graphic element and follows the user throughout the site.
Challenges: We tried to keep the site simple and minimal but at the same time make it wow people. Our main challenge was to create a Crazy mode with a style unusual for us, creating interesting elements and evoking vivid emotions from the user.
Navigation: The site has classic navigation with a classic approach to storytelling. Everything is based on the scroll.
Technology: Our main technology is Readymag. Again and again, we try to get the most out of this platform so as not to repeat ourselves. No secrets, only our ideas. We wish to make unique products.
