Background: The target audience is current and potential customers of illustration duo Hvass&Hannibal. That includes agencies, corporations and private customers.
Design core: The site is intended to feel swift yet visual: simple, strong grids and clean, classic typography. At the same time, a sense of a broken grid makes everything on the site more raw and explorative. Visitors should feel like reading and exploring the visuals at the same time.
Process: The process went really smooth. We had close collaboration with Hvass&Hannibal and divided roles with one clear concept: strong art direction from Martin Kozak and Hvass&Hannibal, and us at Granyon being able to design and code simultaneously made it rather easy to fulfill dreams and make things progress.
Navigation: The top menu is really simple. What is different are the front-page navigation of selected works and the archive. Both function very intuitively and fast, and we love the breaking feeling you get when scrolling.
