Background: We wanted to create a corporate website that adequately represented Austrian light engine company In-Vision’s unique technologies, products and company values. The site captures the interest of both customers and current and potential employees.
Highlights: The website is our interpretation of the new brand identity designed by a friend of ours: Leni Charles. The design language is distinguished by simple lines that shape modular content components with a playful touch of energetic blue. We created dark and sleek CGI renderings of In-Vision’s products to emphasize a clean and minimalistic direction. The final result is a modular website, making it easy to update and maintain while providing users with an interactive playful experience.
Challenges: Setting up the video from the interactive section of the light-engines page. Since playing the video backwards is choppy and the Timeupdate callback has variable precision, short pauses had to be added before and after each step. We had to manually write the in and out times for each video transition.
Favorite details: The custom-made CGI renderings of the products and the interactive explosion video of one of In-Vision’s light engines. Together with the 3-D artist Nejc Kilar, we made the renderings fit the new In-Vision branding. If users look closely, users can see little realistic scratches on the metal. In the end, all these details give the site a unique and dynamic feel.
Time constraints: The client was very flexible, so we were lucky and had enough time to fine-tune, which was necessary to deliver a high quality product in the end.
Technical features: Did we mention the interactive explosion light engine video yet?
