Background: The website for Koniku Inc., the world’s first neurotechnology company, is mostly used for raising the brand’s awareness. However, we strived to make the site enjoyable and educational for users who want to learn more about Koniku’s products or to join Koniku’s development team.
Highlights: The key features of the Koniku site are its unique navigation and fast loading speed. We spent a lot of time on the site, updating the technical programs and bringing each modification to perfection so the site can function smoothly.
Challenges: The most challenging aspect of the site was implementing the scientific material into the core of the site design. It was difficult to create the content for each section as we were determined to make each segment understandable for all site users.
Favorite details: We tried our best to illustrate and create an educational storytelling experience and connect it to the main design. By working together, the designers and illustrators came up with a style that is permeated with soul and meaning, something we carried through the site and brought to the brand.
Anything new: The team of scientists behind Koniku was there for us from the beginning, explaining information about neuron behavior and its implementation in the current technology. We took that information and, after comprehending it for ourselves, incorporated it into the design so that everyday users can easily understand neuron behavior and Koniku’s technology for themselves. Throughout the process of building the site, we used Autodesk 3ds Max, Cinema 4D and After Effects that helped us provide the content in a way that is comfortable for the user.
