Background: I’m an artist, graphic designer and illustrator that works in various fields of graphic communication in my hometown Poznan in Poland. In 2006, I started my own company StudioKxx and established a name for myself by working for various global brands, small businesses and private projects. I seek to combine my fondness of drawing, love for film and typography, minimalistic design and attention to detail.

Recently, I’ve primarily focused on creating limited edition silkscreened posters that are either licensed or privately commissioned. The main purpose of the site was to refresh the look of the previous one. I also wanted to have a place on the internet where all of my work can be showcased and divided into sections, such as Posters or Archive.

Highlights: I like the site since it is simple, clean and easy to navigate. The main focus of the site is to limit the “design” elements to the bare minimum. The core images and the modern font make it all work together.

Challenges: Finding the time to develop it. Recently, I was so busy that I had to work on it mostly at nighttime. But luckily, there were no time constraints as I was creating it for myself.

Navigational features: Each project thumbnail leads to a full project showcase. Users have a chance to either focus solely on the posters or view older works by visiting the archive. This way, users are able to view the crème de la crème projects.

Technical features: The site is based on the Cargo 2 platform, which enables users to customize each template if need be. The mobile version required the most work, as I had to focus on the spacing, font sizes and margins. Also, I set up an e-shop using the Gumroad platform.
