A dynamic up-and-coming creative agency based in Kockelscheuer, Luxembourg, Ludwig collaborates with specialists around the world to create global-minded content in local applications. To support its growth, Parisian digital creative agency Werkstatt created a site that positions the agency as the modern creative agency it is. “Ludwig was a young creative agency that didn’t have that many references to feature,” says Werkstatt’s creative director and cofounder Matthieu Kobler. “Nevertheless, it had a philosophy, a methodology and a positioning that we needed to highlight.” In order to avoid an unabalanced amount of imagery and text, Werkstatt’s solution involved combining fullscreen backgrounds and Ludwig’s square logo to create transition principles; by using Ajax, the digital creative agency was able to technically develop a level of fluidity that could then be rendered in motion graphics, appearing as transitions throughout the site. Werkstatt elected to use the WordPress CMS for the site, as it has both an easy-to-understand client side and a powerful API.
