Included in a massive experience overhaul just in time for the museum’s 40th anniversary, the site plays a central role of the new digital experience loop, with its CMS—Drupal 7—connecting to native iOS and Android apps; every article on this site now deep links to views on the app, providing a robust new publishing strategy. In-depth feature pages bring visitors to a digital doorstep of each exhibition, with new cross-reference tags and a favoriting function that encourages them to explore the site and save their favorite content. The site has received more than 220,000 visitors within the first two weeks of its launch.
